We are excited to be recruiting volunteers to a Communications Coproduction Panel. If you have lived experience of mental health problems, either yourself or by supporting someone, and are interested in helping us shape our communications, you are welcome to apply to our group. You could be someone who has support with WS Mind, a volunteer, trustee or anyone from the community.
The group will be a fantastic opportunity to share opinions and discuss communications subjects related to West Sussex Mind and its resources, in order to improve accessibility and inclusivity, and to ensure the voices of people with experience of mental health problems are heard.
The group is set to run over the course of a year and meet once every month or so for one to two hours. We are hoping the first group to be towards the end of April 2023 and will likely be in person at one of our core WS Mind locations. This will be discussed and arranged with the group. Online accessibility can also be discussed.
We encourage people to come forward from under-represented communities and backgrounds to join our panel. It will be a safe space to put forward ideas, and innovate our communications work including social media, website content and printed communications projects.
Panel members will be able to claim travel expenses.
If you’d be happy to contribute or would like to know more about the Communications Coproduction Panel, please contact the panel chair, Kirsty, at kirsty.potter@westsussexmind.org.
