In addition, we run social activities where you can meet others and build confidence as part of your recovery journey. Our face-to-face and online social activities in the Chanctonbury area include:
- a walking group
- poetry
- quizzes
- get togethers
- "Active Minds", a group for people with early stages of memory loss.
You can also join other online sessions which operate across our West Sussex Mind support areas, providing more opportunities to socialise and to take part in learning and development workshops.
For the full programme, see our social activities timetable.
We have a private Facebook group for adults who get support with us in Chanctonbury and Midhurst and a separate Facebook group for young people, aged 16 to 25, across West Sussex Mind. And we produce a monthly newsletter, which includes our programme of activities, tips on coping strategies, and contributions of art, recipes and poetry.
Our team can also help you with:
- advice and information about your mental health and about other services
- one-to-one support to set goals, review your progress and discuss any issues you are dealing with
- focused learning and development workshops led by staff and trained peer volunteers. Sessions will help you achieve your goals around improving mental and physical well-being and support your personal development.
