West Sussex Mind has vacancies in our Littlehampton, Worthing and Adur teams as Pathfinder Mental Health Workers, supporting individuals aged 18 and over.

Full Time Salary: £25,915.50 per annum

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours a week) Adur, Littlehampton and Worthing (6 month Fixed Term contracts) Monday to Friday

Locations:

Littlehampton: 23 Maltravers Dr, Littlehampton BN17 5EY

Worthing: The Gateway, 8-10 Durrington Road, Worthing, BN13 1QG

Adur: Cornerhouse, 45 Southwick Street, Southwick BN42 4TH

Contract: 6 month Fixed Term

Annual Leave: 25 days per year

Overview:

West Sussex Mind is a local mental health charity committed to promoting mental well-being in local communities and supporting the recovery and independence of individuals we provide support to. We are looking for a Mental Health Recovery Workers to join our busy and exciting mental health services – that is also part of Pathfinder West Sussex. (www.pathfinderwestsussex.org.uk)

We are looking for someone who has experience of working with people with mental health problems or individuals with lived experience of mental health. Post-holders will need to demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for recovery focused mental health work and show that they can be a strong team player with real commitment to their work. You will also need to have initiative and be able to contribute to the direction and development of the service.

Successful applicants will provide recovery focused 1:1 and group support, as well as developing our peer led support within services and workshop programme. You will have access to an extensive training programme to continue your own learning and development.
